For a long time now, since the loss of true Christian identity from the time of dark ages. We have being trained in our religious to be humble, polite and love each other which is a good thing and Jesus also summoned it. Contrary to the current preachers who their motives of summoning humbleness, politeness and love is to act as master-mind of their followers.
Jesus didn't do that, and he preached for the people to know God.
The tragedy to this denominations today trains people to please everybody regardless of their did. The people who are very respected and leaders in our religious are not to be questioned on whatever they do. Pleasing for everything doesn't mean you are religious and godly.
Some people wear very dirty clothes, Walk like sick people, please every mere words and did around, they don't eat healthy food and think they are godly. Looking good before the eyes of God. But actually is lust, pride and infidelity. We are supposed to have self-control for everything we opt to do.
Jesus was very humble and he responded politely to all people but He never please those who were false teachers, prostitute, Superstitious, corrupt, and thieves. He warned them of their did and unfaithful claims to be people of God and servant of the almighty. Many people today in religious denominations are obsessed scrupulosity and accept everything even if things are senseless and not in harmony with nature. They have hunger of word.
Jesus feared nothing to point and warn those who were government officials and religious ministers of their misery and corrupt did. To remain silent doesn't mean you are wise, sometimes people have nothing to say and they are trained in that way. They don't think and reason though God gave them many gifts and talents which they don't use it with integrity.
Paul wrote in the book of Titus,
“exhort the young men to be sober-minded, in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you”.
This is the foot steps we are obliged as young men and women to follow and pass through it. Not to argument for everything but to think and reason for everything.
People who are religious misguided, their mind is hangcaped. You can tell them whatever you want and never ask why, you can teach anything you want even a false doctrine and accept it.
Religion scrupulous is predominant in Africa, making some people as small gods. This is reminding me of papacy in history and have infiltrated that spirit to the protestant churches, let us wake up and obey God. Not human doctrines.
I was surprised with the information which was circulating in social media a pastor gave his followers poison called jick to drink for sanctity and they all died. wonderful enough among those who died included a teacher and one nurse. The very educated but misguided in religion, with empty knowledge of heaven.
People of God are supposed to be intelligent and righteous so that they can be able to show others the grace and favour we obtained from Jesus. You shall know the truth and shall set you free.
