Fearful tests and trials await the people of God. The spirit of war is stirring the nations from one end of the earth to the other. ~E.G.White 9T 17We all pass through trials where storms of life rage unceasingly. A lot of tough questions arise in our mind ; stress us and rob of our inner peace!. And when they stay with us a little longer, our hope wears away !
We have probably reached at a point to question our faith! Why did our loving Abba, Father allow this to happen? Did He see it coming?..really?..If so ! ..where was He before and when this was happening?..and the list of difficult questions goes on, whose answers are really hard to find.
I don't have answers to all of the above questions. When trials come, asking ourselves these tough questions can be really be not only troubling but also exhaustingly draining our energy and that little faith remained in our hearts. On cherishing it, we find ourselves in total despair ; weak, helpless, torn and of deteriorated health.
You shouldn't follow this pattern when troubles come! There is a very nice approach to all of these tough moments that God wants you to know, let me share with you now...you are ready, aren't you?
God loves you and I.
What a wonderful truth! The realization that God loves "US". You need to embrace this and internalize it in your heart. The love of God is unconditional, he still loves and cares about you and I, even during the time of Trials. This belief will give you courage and strength to power your faith as you energetically face the test, no matter what comes your way, you don't retreat since you know God is behind you..fighting your battles!!..Amazing, isn't it?
When Satan thought of testing Job, he was wrong to think that Job would despise his God. When trials came, job stood upright and proved his faith! He was established on the rock. He knew how perfect the love of God was to his life ; even when everything was taken out of his hands but his soul, the love of God sustained him enough to overcome the test. It is the same God who had helped him win the battle, who blessed him again, even more abundantly thereafter. It is the same God who is always ready to help you through whatever comes your way!.
At school, tests are provided to students to see whether they understood the lesson. During the examination, they get an opportunity to prove and demonstrate their knowledge. At this point, they have to recall what they learned before and apply it concisely to answer questions at hand. Likewise, during trials we get a chance to prove our faith. It is an opportunity to measure our strengths, witness our weaknesses ,learn and improve along the way. Through troubles, we get that fire which sharpens our faith even more than before. Through these difficult times, we can find out the way!. We can love God in the same way He loves us, when we see Him in our "Break through".
Through all our trials we have a never-failing Helper. He does not leave us alone to struggle with temptation, to battle with evil, and be finally crushed with burdens and sorrow. Though now He is hidden from mortal sight, the ear of faith can hear His voice saying, Fear not; I am with you. "I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore." Rev.1:18. DA 483
Yes, Trials do test your faith! You got to know this before the devil takes the wind out of your sails, to leave you flat and deflated.
Build your Faith beforehand
It takes proper and adequate preparations if you are to win the impending battles. The battleground is never a better place for your rehearsals but performance.
So the time to build your faith is when the Strom is calm, when the wind is not blowing. When the storm comes, let it find that you have your house built on the rock.
So whatever winds, whatever rain, whatever storms and whatever hurricanes, they can not shake your house.
" We may not always have answers to all our questions but we can have our faith firmly established in Christ for all our unanswerable questions "
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
Matthew 7:24-27 NIV
I hope you will take my final words;
"Build your faith on the rock, keep your trust in Him, He never neglects those who come to Him"
Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord , have never forsaken those who seek you.
Psalms 9:10 NIV
Our heavenly Father measures and weighs every trial before He permits it to come upon the believer. He considers the circumstances and the strength of the one who is to stand under the proving and test of God, and He never permits the temptations to be greater than the capacity of resistance. If the soul is overborne, the person overpowered, this can never be charged to God, as failing to give strength in grace, but the one tempted was not vigilant and prayerful and did not appropriate by faith the provisions God had abundantly in store for him. Christ never failed a believer in his hour of combat. The believer must claim the promise and meet the foe in the name of the Lord, and he will not know anything like failure.--MS 6, 1889. 2MCP 473
I hope you have learned something! I will be glad to see your comments below regarding the subject above.

Thanks sister G for massage.
ReplyDeleteIn order to stand firm at time of trial we must realize our weaknesses and inabilities so as we can full depend on him(God). And full dependence to God is attained by some one who succeeded against selfishness. God word says
"The warfare against self is the greatest battle that was ever fought. The yielding of self, surrendering all to the will of God, requires a struggle; but the soul must submit to God before it can be renewed in holiness".SC 43.3
So let us struggle against self so as we can get power from heaven to stand firm at a time of trial. Thanks
